The League of Women Voters of Door County is sponsoring a Candidate Forum for 1st Assembly District Representative on Thursday, October 18 at 7 pm in the Common Council Chambers, City Hall, at 421 Michigan Street, Sturgeon Bay.
The public will have an opportunity to become better acquainted with the two assembly candidates: Garey Bies and Patrick Veeser. This forum is held to help voters select the most qualified, best-suited person for the office. It is not a debate. The questions posed to candidates at the forum come from both the audience and persons who cannot attend, but who intend to view the forum on the access channels or Internet. Each candidate will have an equal opportunity to share their positions and views with the public.
The forum will air live and also be replayed on:
- Sturgeon Bay’s Governmental Public Access Channels: 97 (Analog) and 988 (Digital)
- Charter Cable system reaching Door and Kewaunee Counties.
