The Holiday 2011 Art Studio Crawl will be held on Saturday and Sunday in Sturgeon Bay, November 19-20, from 10 am to 3 pm.

Photographer Kelly Avenson, specializes in creative, unique and candid photographs of all those special moments in life. Ernest Beutel’s abstract representational paintings illustrate that life is a balance between the grotesque and the playful. Enjoy his topsy-turvy world of animals and his cock-eyed distortion of reality.
Faith Frykman paints in oil, pastel or acrylic, simplifying a subject and transforming it with her uninhibited use of texture, surprising colors and intriguing gestural lines. Award-winning painter Lynn Gilchrist will show her intensely-colored landscapes and still life paintings in pastels and oils. Bethany Kirwen’s colorful florals and landscapes in pastels, acrylics and mixed media express the light in life’s simple pleasures. Liz Maltman’s bold color and fluid, imaginative style gives life to her award-winning pastel or acrylic landscapes and portraits. Tim Nyberg‘s acrylic paintings are alive with strong brushwork and color. His whimsical, colorful and inspired paintings are perfect for home or office.
Lifetime resident Audrey Off’s photography and paintings in watercolor, mixed media, oil and acrylic reflect her love of water and nature. Pat Olson’s fine art paintings and designs in pastel and acrylic include landcapes and whimsical Door County posters and prints. Visionary silk artist Jenwah Panther will show her signature creations, illuminated wall tapestries and fabrics that nurture the heart. Shane Peterson’s original oil paintings showcase his unique and engaging perspective and his intriguing use of vibrant color.
Jeremy Popelka and Stephanie Trenchard will show their original blown and cast fine art glass, contemporary oil paintings, jewelry, light fixtures and gifts in their downtown working studio. Rick Risch is known for employing a rich textural technique in his wonderful landscapes and portraits. Handweaver Lynn Schuster will show her woven table runners, blankets and rugs as well as intricate pieces of jewelry and coiled baskets embellished with beadwork. Door County native Deb Stroh-Larson will show her monotypes, etchings and pastels, as well as intaglio and watercolor paintings. Gina Ward’s portraits and landscapes in pastel are alive with color and emotion.
