Many of Door County’s top musicians are tuning up for a benefit in Jacksonport on behalf of Marty Manson, taking place on Saturday, August 18 from 1 to 7 pm at the Horse Palace located on County Highway V.
Marty Manson fell off a ladder and shattered his leg. While he is continuing to work hard on his recovery and recuperation, he is still unable to return to work. Knowing that he is facing a mountain of bills, some of Door County finest musicians have joined forces to perform in a day-long benefit event. To date, they include: Jeanne Kuhns, Patrick Palmer, Jay Whitney, Mark Raddatz, Seth Raddatz, Ryan Moreno, Marybeth Mattson, Pete Thelen and many more joining in.
For a $10 donation, you can enjoy a great variety of top-flight entertainment as well as food and drink, including beer, wine, soda and water. Guests 13 years old and younger are admitted free. There will be raffles and other surprises and the event will go on rain-or-shine! Join Friends helping Friends on August 18. For more information, please call 920.495.0893.
