Geri X played her first show at the Holiday Music Motel in October of 2010, delighting the audience with her frank comments and very heartfelt songwriting, not to mention an awesome vocal delivery and her very cool guitar stylings.

A Bulgarian-born singer-songwriter, she traveled throughout the better (and worse) parts of Europe as a young teen before settling down in St. Petersburg, Florida in 2005. Geri X first visited Door County in 2007 as a participant in the Steel Bridge Songfest and has since, come to consider Sturgeon Bay’s Holiday Music Motel and Studios as a second home.
Since her last Holiday concert Geri went trans-Atlantic, extensively touring Europe and briefly returning to her Bulgarian homeland where she was featured in the European edition of Rolling Stone magazine. She returns to The Holiday Music Motel for an intimate house concert on Wednesday, April 4 from 7 – 9:30 pm.
Recently ranked globally as one of the top 25 (#6, to be exact) most influential indie singer-songwriters in Indie Music Reviewer Magazine, Geri’s songwriting continues to cut direct to the heart and bone while still possessing gentleness and sensitivity. She will be performing new songs from her forthcoming album Work Is The Wolf as well as other familiar favorites, many of which were written and recorded in-house at The Holiday Music Motel.
