Ministry Door County Medical Center is hosting an event that will honor and celebrate individuals who are leaving their mark on our Door County community.
“Leaving a Legacy: Celebrating those Who Inspire” will take place on Tuesday, November 1 at Stone Harbor Resort from 5:30 – 8:00 pm. Proceeds will benefit the Family Centers of Door County. Ministry Door County Medical Center is hosting an event that will honor and celebrate individuals who are leaving their mark on our Door County community. Do you know of someone who has inspired you? We all know that person who motivates us to action, encourages others, or instigates change in our families, at school, in the community or workplace. The Legacy Event Committee is asking for your help in identifying individuals in Door County who have made a difference in your life or the lives of others. This is your chance to recognize those individuals whose actions will be remembered for years to come thus leaving a legacy in Door County.
There are six categories for nominations of those who inspire…
- Family
- Teacher
- Employee (Non Profit or Business)
- Adult (Men or Women)
- Youth
- Older Adult (Those over 65)
Nominees will be introduced at a ceremony on November 1 at Stone Harbor Resort & Convention Center. One winner in each category will be chosen to receive a special award that includes a photo session with a local photographer. Please send your nominee’s name, mailing address, e-mail address, telephone number and a write up telling a little bit about him/her and how this person has inspired you or made a difference in your life; why you think he/she deserves this award.
All nominations must be sent to the Family Centers of Door County by October 1 at the address below or via e-mail to Sara Paye at sara@familycentersdc.com. A panel will choose one person in each category to receive a special award. Invitations to this event will be sent to the nominees who will be honored the night of the event. Anyone interested in attending can purchase a dinner ticket for that evening. All are welcome!
