On Wednesday, December 3, the Door County Real Property Listing Office started printing the 2008 tax bills, which are payable in 2009. Property owners can expect to receive their tax bill sometime during the next two weeks. This year’s lottery credit is a little down from what it was last year. The credit ranges from $23.14 in the Gibraltar School District to $83.13 in the Sturgeon Bay School District.

This year there is also a new credit that will appear on all real estate parcels with an improvement. This credit is called the first dollar credit and like the lottery credit is based on which school district you are in. This credit will range from $10.03 in the Gibraltar School District to $36.02 in the Sturgeon Bay School District.
