Masterpieces, music and murals will be the order of the day as the Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center (SBVC) presents the 12th annual Fine Art Fair.
The Sturgeon Bay Fine Art Fair, held on May 29 and 30 from 10 am – 4 pm at Sunset Park is part of Door County’s month-long “Festival of Blossoms.” The juried art show features the original works of nearly 100 Wisconsin and midwest artists in a variety of media including sculpture, painting, jewelry, ceramics, fiber and photography.
Entertainment is also scheduled throughout both days, including children’s entertainer Randy Peterson, strolling entertainers Dan Ognavic, John Contratto and clown TC Hatter. Children’s activities will include painting one of the many 50-foot murals and designing one-of-a-kind paper hats. A variety of food items and beverages will be available all weekend. The very popular “Artwork Raffle” will again be part of the activities and will feature a large selection of items from art fair participants.
