VIDEO: Two of Door County’s Top Musicians Bring Talented Offspring Together in Concert at Joe Jo’s Pizza, Feb 12

Mark Raddatz and sons Seth and Austin will perform with Jeanne Kuhns and her daughter Marybeth Mattson – all some of the area’s finest musicians, singers and songwriters.

Two of the Door’s favorite and highly acclaimed folk artists, Mark Raddatz and Jeanne Kuhns, come together on Friday, February 12 at Joe Jo’s Pizza and Gelato in Ephraim. They bring a very talented gathering of their own next generation to perform a variety of original works and favorite folk songs in the classic styles of John Prine, Woody Gutherie, John Goodman, Bob Dylan, and Joni Mitchell.
Mark Raddatz is often called the “Dylan of the Door.” In 2008, Jeanne Kuhns was voted Door County Magazine’s Best Female Musician. Both both are veterans of the Door County music scene and will have their latest CDs available.
Seth Raddatz, accomplished folk/rock rhythm and lead guitarist is a natural at songwriting, Austin Raddatz is a wildly gifted jembe player and percussionist. Marybeth Mattson is the newest singer/songwriter to come forth, known for her outrageous performance poetry and beautiful vocals. Bassist Patrick Palmer will accompany the group.
It will be a dynamic night to remember! Come on out for the music from 6 – 8 pm on Friday, February 12. There is no cover charge, but a voluntary donation for the musicians is encouraged.
Joe Jo’s Pizza and Gelato hosts concerts or open mic nights every Friday throughout the off-season.
